Information entered in the generator
Website addresses, Wi-Fi credentials, contact details, messages, phone numbers, locations and uploaded logo images are used locally in your browser to generate the QR code. They are not intentionally uploaded to or stored by AblePro.
Images and camera access
Photos, screenshots and live camera frames used by the QR scanner are processed on your device. Camera access begins only after you select the camera option, and you can stop it at any time. The scanner does not intentionally upload or retain those images.
Downloaded files
PNG and SVG files are created on your device and downloaded through your browser. You control where those files are stored and how they are shared.
Website operations
As with most websites, ordinary hosting and security systems may process basic technical information needed to deliver the site, protect it from abuse and understand general performance. Do not enter confidential information into a QR code that you would not want someone with access to the code to see.
Static codes are readable
A QR code is a machine-readable way to display information, not a form of encryption. Anyone who scans or decodes the image can read the information stored in it.
